Dear Community and Investors, It’s hard to believe that another month has already passed again – time is flying at Data Lake! We can’t wait to show you what has been going on inside and outside our office with the monthly recap, so let’s get right to it!

Educating people about the potential of medical data for the advancement of medical science, as well as on the possibility for the public to gain access to and donate their data to research, are fundamental parts of our mission to unlocking medical data for R&D. During the past weeks, we have had the pleasure to introduce Data Lake in several blockchain-focused Telegram communities and YouTube channels. Through video reviews, interviews held by the chats moderators as well as questions from the public (in an AMA format), we have shared the milestones achieved so far, explained what Data Lake is currently working on, and what we hope our project will become in the coming months and years. Data Lake has successfully launched the first in-hospital data donation campaign
It is with immense delight that we announce that we have completed our very first in-hospital data donation campaign!
Data Lake is selected to join the EY Startup Academy
For those who are not familiar with EY, Ernst & Young is one of the Big Four accounting firms, it employs over 200,000 people and operates in over 150 countries. EY is acclaimed worlwide for its provision of audit, consulting, tax, business risk, technology and security risk services. In recent years, they have also made relatively significant advances into the blockchain world as well, providing smart contract auditing as well as general consulting services.

Data Lake Founders featured in Forbes 30
We’re incredibly proud to announce that both of our founders Wojciech Sierocki and Ligia Kornowska were today selected to be featured in Forbes’ Annual 30-under-30 list! Both Wojciech and Ligia were also featured in Forbes’ 25-under-25 list in the past, so this represents the second time they have been chosen amongst Poland’s top entrepreneurs, business and thought leaders.

Our company was features as Startup of the Month by SiliconRepublic – a tech publication based in Ireland! We’re honored to have been chosen to be featured, and hope that we’ll be able to bring consent-based medical data donation to the Irish people soon!
