The Data Lake Benefits Panel is Live!
We are thrilled to announce that the Data Lake Benefits Panel has been deployed for the very first time! Fundacja Podaruj Dane (Polish Donate Your Data Foundation) has launched a benefits program for their “Data Heroes” and other registered users, who now have the option of participating in the benefits ecosystem.
Announcing our New OTC Desk
Today we are excited to announce the opening of our in-house OTC Desk, where everyone can apply to become a long-term investor in Data Lake! We are allowing new investors to become long-term stakeholders of the project. All LAKE tokens purchased through our OTC Desk will be subject to a variable vesting period, with a minimum of 6 months cliff and 12 months vesting.

The idea of an AI-driven robot taking over our healthcare – one of the most “human” fields that we have – is not a new one, as we discussed in our previous article about Sci-Fi Medicine. Until recently, the idea remained relatively firmly in the realm of science fiction books and movies. The Sci-Fi Future of AI-Driven Medicine
For decades, science fiction authors and film directors have imagined and shaped our idea of the future of medicine. From Blade Runner (1982) to Ghost in the Shell (1995) and The Matrix (1999), a common trope is that when someone is injured they immediately receive a full-body scan, before being accurately diagnosed and then treated back to health by an AI-driven robot or android. Only in the most severe of cases does the artificial doctor say there’s nothing they can do, but normally there is no injury too severe and no surgery too complex for an AI-MD. Fundacja Podaruj Dane (Polish for “Donate Your Data Foundation“) is a non-profit organization that acts as the trust entity for Data Lake’s medical data donation ecosystem in Poland. We’re pleased to announce that the organization has been recently featured in an article on Poland’s premier healthcare news site, Medonet.pl. Medonet is one of Poland’s oldest health services, and Medonet.pl – with its 70 million monthly views – is the go-to site for Polish patients to access information about health and welness.
