Data Lake is delighted to announce the launch of Marketing Bounty, an initiative set to transform the way users publish DeSci related social media content. Starting from July 29, 2024, users will be able to submit posts from Twitter (X), YouTube, TikTok, and Farcaster, and most importantly, invite their friends to earn points (and points multipliers) that will be converted into LAKE tokens.
The primary goal of the Marketing Bounty is to encourage users to create and share educational content about decentralised science and Data Lake. By spreading knowledge and enabling discussions around these topics, the platform aims to promote a deeper understanding and engagement of decentralised science.
How It Works
The Marketing Bounty will launch together with a platform, which will allow users to easily submit their social media content through an intuitive interface and track their points. By contributing eligible posts focused on decentralised science and Data Lake, participants can accumulate points during the contenst period, which spans from July 29, 2024, to September 30, 2024.
The submission process will work as follows:

Login with Web3 Wallet: Users will need to log in using a Web3 Wallet such as MetaMask to access the platform.

Submit Posts: Users can submit posts from Twitter (X), YouTube, TikTok, and Farcaster that focus on educational content about decentralised science and Data Lake.

Earn Points: Each eligible post earns points, contributing to the user’s total score. Points are subject to review and will be allocated within several days.

Invite Friends and Earn Multipliers: Users will be able to invite their friends in order to earn multipliers. The more friends the user invites – the higher the multiplier and the reward, whenever the friend publishes an eligible post.

Convert into LAKE: At the end of the contest period, points will be automatically converted into LAKE tokens which will be distributed to the participants’ wallets.

We highly value the creativity, quality and network our community users and creators are able to leverage, therefore all posts will be subject to earning different amounts of points, depending on several factors. Posts that will be valued with a greater amount points are posts that for example:

Rewards
At the conclusion of the contest period, all accumulated points will be converted into LAKE tokens. The total pool of allocated tokens is 2.000.000 LAKE tokens, which will be distributed among participants based on the points they have earned. This incentivizes users to be active and engaged, maximising their opportunities to earn rewards.
The distribution of LAKE tokens is subject to Terms & Conditions. Data River company is the organizer of this bounty program.
