The Spinediana Quest Has Launched: Uncover Lost Medical Knowledge, Fuel AI Spine Research & Get Rewarded

We’re thrilled to announce that the Spinediana Quest—the second research campaign on LAKE.fun—has officially launched!

Launched in collaboration with SpineDAO, this groundbreaking initiative calls on the global community to uncover forgotten, historical, and traditional medical knowledge in the field of spine care—and contribute it to CHRONOS, an AI-powered knowledge graph designed to generate new hypotheses and insights in spinal medicine.

And yes—you’ll be rewarded for your discoveries.

💰 A 500,000 $LAKE Bounty Awaits

Starting June 25 at 15:00 CET, participants will have 2 months to take part in this unique challenge.

A total bounty of 500,000 $LAKE tokens has been allocated to reward the most valuable contributions—documents that provide meaningful inputs to the CHRONOS AI system.

Whether it’s an Ayurvedic scroll, a forgotten PhD dissertation, or a rare academic publication—you now have the opportunity to turn lost knowledge into future medical breakthroughs.

🧪 What Is CHRONOS?

Developed by SpineDAO, CHRONOS is a next-generation AI agent designed to process both modern clinical data and traditional medical insights. Its purpose?

🔍 Recontextualize knowledge long ignored by modern science
🧠 Discover novel connections in spine care
💡 Inspire new clinical hypotheses for AI and researchers to explore

With your help, CHRONOS can expand its reach and depth—and decentralize the future of spine research.

🧭 Research Pipeline: How to Join

Participating is simple and accessible. Here’s the step-by-step process to take part in the Spinediana Quest:

  1. Accept the regulations of LAKE.fun and sign up for the project.
  2. Fill out a questionnaire and grant consent through the Data Lake Application.
  3. Upload a spine-related document to https://quest.spinearchive.com using the same email as on the Data Lake Application – this can include:
    • Ancient medical manuscripts
    • Historical medical texts
    • Academic research publications
  4. Await validation by the SpineDAO team. Contributions deemed valid and useful for CHRONOS will be eligible for a share of the bounty.

Participants must complete the full research pipeline to be eligible. Contributions will be evaluated for relevance, uniqueness, and utility in expanding the CHRONOS AI graph. Submissions and rewards will be evaluated and distributed according to the Terms & Conditions.

🎯 Why It Matters

This project is more than a research challenge—it’s a step toward a new model of knowledge discovery.

By merging decentralized participation with historical wisdom and AI interpretation, SpineDAO and Data Lake are building a new frontier for medical research—where the past directly powers the future.

With ethical consent management, transparency, and community incentives at its core, the Spinediana Quest exemplifies what decentralized science (DeSci) is all about.

LAKE.fun x MedMetrix: 6000+ Visitors, 601 Participants, 26 Research Contributors – Project Completed!

Our very first LAKE.fun research project in partnership with MedMetrix has officially concluded—and what a ride it has been! This groundbreaking initiative set out to improve the AI-powered dermatological analysis tool and the MedMetrix platform, and the results speak volumes. Today, we’re proud to share the results, reflect on what we’ve learned, and look ahead to what’s coming next.   Why This Matters: Decentralized Science in Action The MedMetrix project was the first real-world proof point for LAKE.fun, our decentralized research platform built on the Data Lake Chain. This wasn’t just a pilot—it was a public demonstration of how community-led science, blockchain-based consent, and Web3 rewards can come together to shape the future of medical innovation. Participants weren’t just test subjects—they were valued collaborators. Every user gave informed consent through the Data Lake Application. Every contribution was transparently tracked and securely stored. Those who completed the process successfully are now receiving rewards in $LAKE tokens, recognizing the real-world value of their participation.   By the Numbers: 6,000+ users visited LAKE.fun during the campaign 601 participants entered the research pipeline 26 eligible contributors successfully completed the full research process and significantly supported MedMetrix in improving its AI platform The project officially
