Project Update #15 July 2023 graphics Data Lake

Dear Community and Investors,

Welcome to another Project Update from Data Lake! With the beginning of the third quarter of the year, Data Lake’s board has spent the last few weeks discussing the strategy to adopt for our business to thrive. In this update, we will be giving you a hint on what has been discussed, and we’ll recap the events that have characterized the past month. Ready? Let’s dive in!

💥 An update on Data Lake

Since the start of 2023, our unwavering focus has been on achieving our first sales milestone to demonstrate the viability of Data Lake and the evident demand for ethically-sourced medical data from the market. Over the past few months, we have engaged in fruitful discussions with numerous start-ups, researchers, and top-tier medical companies, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response. We are proud to announce that we have successfully closed deals with some of these prominent partners, and we are committed to fulfilling our obligations to our valued customers. However, we understand the sensitive nature of medical data, requiring utmost privacy and careful collection processes, which inevitably takes time.

At Data Lake, your feedback and concerns hold immense importance to us. We acknowledge that some $LAKE investors have been patiently waiting for buybacks and token-related initiatives. We want to assure you that we have exciting things planned for the upcoming months. While we are excited about these plans, we are not yet able to disclose specific details at this moment, but it won’t take much longer until we’ll be able to so stay tuned!

Strategic decisions and business development played a big part last month, but that’s not all we achieved. Keep reading for a recap of our latest marketing achievements and initiatives!

Together with our candidacy to the Polish Startup of the year – for which we warmly invite you to vote here – the renowned website Hackernoon has published an article about Data Lake.

In this featured interview, our CEO, Wojciech Sierocki, passionately presents Data Lake and its pivotal role in disrupting the Medical Research Industry. The piece offers a plethora of valuable insights into our mission and vision. If you’re eager to delve into the details, we encourage you to read the article by clicking here.

Podcast presence

Podcasts have emerged as a powerful and engaging medium for connecting with the public interested in cutting-edge topics like AI, medical data, and the future of healthcare.

In July, Ligia Kornowska was invited to speak on the 13th episode of the “Tech for Founders” podcast, where she elaborated on the potential of AI in healthcare, shared how we are working to ensure the data for these technologies is accessed, and also addressed the challenges faced by women in related sectors.

Data Lake’s Head of International & Public Relations Dinidh O’Brien was also interviewed on the widely-circulated “AI Sentinel Podcast”, in which he described Data Lake as a key solution to the issues in medical research, and talks about whether AI has the potential to fix the areas in which our healthcare systems are broken.

Make sure to check them out!

🔚 Final thoughts

Overall, we believe our maturity in the medical data market has grown dramatically. In particular, we are becoming more and more adept at understanding and responding to the real needs of our customers. Data Lake as a brand is becoming one of the big names in the healthcare ecosystem in Poland, sparking engaging conversations among experts and medical professionals while serving as an inspiration for other entities in the field. We now have a much deeper know-how on how to thrive in this market, and are putting in the work necessary to achieve the goals we set for our company.

We can’t thank you all enough to be part of our journey and we invite you to stay updated on what we are building on our social media channels.

Thank you for being a vital part of the Data Lake community.

Pioneering Decentralized Science: Data Lake and Arbitrum Orbit Collaboration

As a leader in Decentralized Science (DeSci), Data Lake is at the forefront of transforming how consent is shared and managed in scientific research. By leveraging blockchain technology, we are building a transparent, patient-first platform for consented research enrolment on top of Arbitrum Orbit Technology, supported by a grant awarded by the Arbitrum Foundation. What Are We Doing? Data Lake has built the Data Lake Chain, a Layer 3 blockchain designed specifically for decentralized consent management in healthcare and research. This chain, created using Arbitrum Orbit, is the backbone of our ecosystem and supports: Informed Consent Management: Enabling patients to securely provide and manage consent for their medical data to be used in research. Decentralized Collaboration: Facilitating partnerships between researchers, healthcare providers, and patients in a transparent and efficient manner. Scalability and Security: Delivering a robust infrastructure capable of handling the unique demands of DeSci projects. This is a significant step forward in our mission to revolutionize scientific research, ensuring that data sharing is ethical, transparent, and beneficial for all stakeholders. Why Arbitrum Orbit? Arbitrum Orbit provides the ideal foundation for the Data Lake Chain due to its advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 technology. Here’s why it stands out:
